Byakko

On the second edition of MWL Redline, Byakko was granted the opportunity to, in a Fatal 4-Way match,  also involving Scott Froelich, Spike Norton, and Christopher Martel, challenge for the MWL World Lightweight Championship.  He won the battle, and went on to MWL Goldlust 2007, to challenge for the title.  He was backed up by David Hitz, and defeated then-champion, Jim Norris.

On the following edition of MWL Redline, Byakko was defeated by Jim Norris in a rematch for the title, and was beaten savagely by Free Radical, which had reformed earlier than night.  He then disappeared for two weeks, as Suzaku explained that he was in the hospital, with serious injuries.

This proved to be false, as Byakko returned, immediately provoking reactions from Norris.  He took part in a triple threat match originally advertised as himself, David Hitz, and Jim Norris, though Norris backed out and was replaced by Scott Froelich.  He has not wrestled since.
