"Ladies and gentlemen, Stevan Corber here, with the new head of talent relations here in MWL, Sarah Alyssa and her enforcer, Chris Campbell.  Now, Miss Alyssa..."  Stevan began.

"Just 'Sarah' will be fine for now, Stevan."  Sarah interrupted.

"Right, Sarah, at Fallout, your enforcer, Chris Campbell competed with David Hitz and Jim Norris to determine the number-one contender to the MWL World Lightweight Championship, now held by Scott Froelich.  Unfortunately, Chris did not win the match."  Stevan stated.

"He didn't lose, either."  Sarah answered, as Chris absent-mindedly dug in his ear.  "So, here is what I'm going to do for tonight.  One on one, it will be Chris Campbell here, against the newest member of the X, Alex DuVry."

"Why do I have to go against Alex?  Why not somebody entertaining?  Like, say...Scott.  For the title?"  Chris asked, with a grin.

"Chris, you were in a number-one contender's match at Fallout.  You didn't win, so you've got to wait your turn."  Sarah sighed.

"Whoever came up with that needs to be shot."  Chris spat.

"AHEM!"  Sarah cleared her throat, and placed her hands on her hips as Chris laughed.  "Chris, just for that, I should put you in a handicap match against Scott and Alex.  But I won't, because I'm just too nice."

"Right, sure."  Chris stifled a laugh.

"Don't push me!"  Sarah spat.  "I can still change your match!"

"Right, right, heh.  Sorry, Sarah."  Chris giggled.

"Alright, Allan, I've got to tell you, your match with Genbu was your preparation.  Tonight, you will begin to make the move to the MWL World Heavyweight title picture."  Michael stated, making a grand gesture around the room.  "Tonight, you will face Yugo Ryan, in a one-on-one match.  I expect to see a good show, now."

"Yugo won't be a problem, Michael!"  Allan laughed.  "Y'see, Canadia has turned out some of the roughest, toughest guys in wrestling history, like--"

"Canada."  Michael corrected.  "It's 'Canada', Allan."

"Right, that's what I said, Canadia."  Allan repeated.

"No, it's...  Say it with me, Allan."  Michael stated.  "Ca...na...da."

    "Canadia."  Allan repeated again.

"Y'know, what?  Never mind.  Win, lose, or draw tonight, I've got big plans for you at Aftermath.  I'm not going to go into detail right now, but you will be getting a shot soon."  Michael stated, as Allan grinned from ear to ear.

"Now that's what I like to hear!  Thanks a million for giving me the shot, Michael!"  Allan announced.

"Hey, you deserve it, you've been on a roll, lately."  Michael congratulated.

Match 1: Shane Warner & Chad Vritska v. SYN

Nicholas Hunter was laying on the bench of the Free Radical locker room, with Jim Norris sitting on the floor next to him, and Amy Kaldahl leaning against the wall, watching them both, a concerned look on her face.  "I got him the first time, how could I screw it up when I was so close to winning the belt back...?"  Nick muttered.  "So, so close..."

"Nick, he's a tough guy, you did your best."  Amy stated.

"But I've beaten him before, why can't I do it again?!"  Nick snapped.  "It doesn't matter, I don't think I'll be getting another shot at the title, anyway.  Mmn...I had a taste, and now I want more.  So help me, I'll find a way to get another shot at Yugo and the title."

"Well, if I'm not mistaken, you'll need to get around Allan Martel to do that.  It seems Michael Jamborgh has his eye on using Allan to end Yugo's reign, now.  What about you, Jimmy?  You still upset about your loss?"  Amy asked.

"Of course I am!  I lost to a freaking roll-up!"  Jim shouted.  "From David Hitz, no less.  Why wouldn't I be upset?"

"Because you didn't lose to the new guy, maybe?"  Amy shrugged.  Jim opened his mouth to speak, but paused, then thought for a moment.

"That's right, there was a new guy in that match, wasn't there?"  Jim asked, as Nick and Amy busted out laughing.  "What?"

    "Smooth, Jimmy!"  Nick giggled.

Match 2: Chris Campbell v. Alex DuVry

Alex donned a grin, as he leaned against the turnbuckles, his gaze locked on Chris Campbell.  Chris stood and looked to the fans at ringside to see if they thought the three count had actually happened.  After a moment, Chris approached the still grinning Alex DuVry and got into his face.  Alex gave a mocking expression and pushed Chris backward.  Chris began to approach Alex as Scott's music played and the arena lights flashed through their cycle.  Chris looked to the stage to see Scott Froelich, MWL World Lightweight Championship belt around his waist, making his way to the ring.  As Scott stopped at the base of the ramp, Alex hammered Chris in the back of the head, taking him down.

Scott slid into the ring and the two of them stomped away on Chris for a while, before Scott lifted Chris up by the head, while Alex climbed to the top rope.  Scott grabbed Chris and looked to Alex, who posed for the crowd.  Scott then hit the Mad Drive on Chris while Alex turned around and hit the Space Trip Step.  Alex then shoved Chris out of the ring while Scott grabbed a microphone.

"David!  You see what we just did to the new guy?  That's NOTHING compared to what we'll do to you!"  Scott shouted, as Alex leaned on the ropes closest to the ramp, and the ring apron flipped up behind them.  Chris slid back in, chair in hand, and cracked Alex in the back of the head, knocking him out of the ring.  Scott turned around just in time to avoid an attempted chairshot on him.  He spun Chris around, who dropped the chair, and caught the newcomer with the second Mad Drive, this one impacting on the chair.  Scott posed in triumph before turning around, where he was greeted by a kick to the gut.  David Hitz had entered the ring.  Chris rolled away, dazed, while David lifted Scott up and dropped him onto the chair with a Toledobomb.  Scott quickly fled, grasping the small of his back, as David helped Chris to his feet, and taunted Scott, who walked back up the ramp, as Alex DuVry finally forced himself to his feet.  After looking into the ring, Alex made his exit, as well, while David helped Chris Campbell backstage.

Main Event: Allan Martel v. Yugo Ryan

As Yugo made his way back up the ramp, Allan Martel pulled himself back to his feet using the ropes, and grabbed a microphone from ringside.  "Yugo!"  Allan shouted, as Yugo stopped in his tracks and turned to face Allan.  "Yugo, I may have lost tonight, but I took you farther than a lot of guys have.  I know that you can be beaten, and I'll be the next man to take your title from you!"  Allan spat, as Yugo fired insults back.  "Get the belt nice and shiny, champ, because at Aftermath, I'll be coming for it!"
