MWL North American Championship: Genbu vs. Allan Martel

"Now, Allan, it's come to my attention that you're doing rather well as of late, so I ask you this.  Would you, Allan Martel, like to compete for the MWL World Heavyweight Championship?"  Michael asked.  Allan looked surprised for a moment, then an expression of joy washed over his face.

"Are you kidding me?!  Of course I would!"  Allan announced.  "Heehee!  Allan Martel, the first-ever Candian to hold the MWL World Heavyweight Championship!  Oh, man, when do I get my shot?!"

"Not yet, I'm afraid.  However, to get you in shape for the shot, I'm first giving you a shot at Genbu and the MWL North American Championship."  Michael stated.

"Alright."  Allan nodded, stroking his chin.  "When's that going to happen?"

"In the opening match for Fallout."  Michael stated.

"Well, I hope Genbu'll be ready then, because I was BORN for HARDCORE!"  Allan shouted.

"Yeah, Allan, we get it."  Michael groaned.  "Just...just go."

"Right-o!"  Allan stated, as he stood and left Michael's office.

Tag Team Contendership: Magnum & Chance vs. Anthony Jacobs & Kairez

"And you know what?  Since there's still an open match slot for Fallout, I'm also announcing a number-one contender's match for the MWL World Tag Team Championship.  That will see Magnum & Chance face Anthony Jacobs & Kairez.  And you know what?  I think that tonight, we'll have us a title match."  Sarah grinned, as Chris laughed.

Lightweight Contendership: David Hitz vs. Jim Norris vs. Chris Campbell

"The winner of that match, which will, of course, be me, will go on to face the winner of the Lightweight title match, either Christopher Martel or Scott Froelich, either at the next pay-per-view or sometime before that.  Either way, ladies and gentlemen, you're looking at the future six-time MWL World Lightweight Champion, in this very ring!"  Jim announced.

MWL World Lightweight Championship: Christopher Martel vs. Scott Froelich

"Well, could you tell us who ordered the triple threat number-one contender's match for the MWL World Lightweight Championship that will take place tonight?"  Stevan asked.

"I could, but I won't."  Chad laughed.  "Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go see Michael and Shane."  With that, Chad made his exit.

"Anyway guys, tonight you're squaring off with the Asian Persuasion."  Melissa interrupted.  "After taking down the Ssu-Ling, those two should be no problem.  Scott!"

    * * *

"Yeah?"  Scott Froelich asked, looking up.

"Tonight you're in a triple threat match with David Hitz and Jim Norris to determine the number-one contender to the MWL World Lightweight Championship at Fallout."  Melissa stated.  "You've got an opportunity to get back into the picture after that screw up on Sunday.  I suggest you don't disappoint us."

    "R-right..."  Scott muttered.

    * * *

"Well, it looks like he pulled it off, after all."  Yugo laughed, looking to Melissa.

"It's amazing what people can do when you light a fire under their ass, isn't it?"  Melissa grinned.

"Especially when you're the one lighting the fire..."  Yugo muttered.

MWL World Heavyweight Championship: Yugo Ryan vs. Nicholas Hunter

"What are you talking about?"  Yugo demanded.  "I am THE MWL World Heavyweight Champion, and nobody in this run down promotion can take my title away from me!  Which is why the X has arrived on the scene.  Nobody here is competent enough to represent MWL, and that is why after Onslaught, when I beat the sorry excuse for a challenger that Michael Jamborgh has thrown at me, this will become the X Heavyweight Championship!"  Yugo announced.

"Wait...didn't you invite Nicholas Hunter to join the X?"  Stevan asked.

"He didn't accept, and that in and of itself shows that just like the rest of MWL, he's not fit to even walk on the same ground as me, let alone compete for MY championship!"  Yugo vaunted.  "We're done here."  With that, Yugo walked off, looking furious.

As Nicholas Hunter raised the MWL World Heavyweight Championship in triumph, Yugo Ryan struck him in the back of the head, as Lino, Catastrophe, Melissa, the Norton Brothers, and Scott Froelich came rushing down the ramp to aid in the assault against the new champion.  As the seven of them attacked, all of the Ssu-Ling, Amy Kaldahl, Jim Norris, David Hitz, and Allan Martel rushed to the ring to aid Nicholas Hunter.  The X was quickly forced out of the ring, as Jim Norris helped Nicholas Hunter to his feet.  Genbu then lifted the champion up onto his shoulder, as Nicholas Hunter again held the championship high overhead in triumph, as the fireworks blasted.

"Nick, what happened?"  Shane demanded, as Jim Norris and Stevan Corber helped him stand, the both of them supporting him on one shoulder.

"I got hit from behind with a chair..."  Nick groaned.  "I remember Viper, Yugo, Lino, and I think Scott..."

"Viper, you thought Nick was my tag team partner, didn't you?  Well, I'm afraid not."  Shane stated.  "My tag partner is in the building right now, though.  And right now, it's time to go to work!  You'll know shortly, boys."  Shane continued, before making his exit from the Free Radical locker room.

"Nick, are you sure you should be competing at Fallen Rites?"  Michael asked.

"I'm already booked, I can't back out now..."  Nick winced.

"I could call the match off..."  Michael continued.

    "No!"  Nick snapped.

"Now then, that brings me to the main event of Fallen Rites.  Until tonight, there was no challenger designated as the number-one contender to the MWL World Heavyweight Championship.  However, just before the beginning of the show tonight, Nicholas Hunter asked to face Yugo Ryan again for the championship.  Considering Nicholas Hunter was assualted backstage earlier tonight, I have considered rescinding the match and instead doing something else.  However, Nicholas still wants to go through with it.  So, at Fallen Rites, it will be Nicholas Hunter and Yugo Ryan in an Onslaught rematch for the MWL World Heavyweight Championship.  If Nicholas loses, he will be given a rematch of his choice between the next Redline, and Fallout."  Michael paused again, looking around the arena.

"Alright, Yugo Ryan, it's time I unveil my plans for our rematch which will, by the way, be happening AT Fallout.  Since you and your little squad felt the need to attack me backstage to try and take me out, then, well, we're going to have ourselves a hardcore match.  But not just any hardcore match, oh, no.  A two out of three falls hardcore match, Yugo!  So help me, even if you break every bone in my body, I will walk out of Fallout as the MWL World Heavyweight Champion once again!"  Nick shouted.

"Well said, Nick, well said."  Jim applauded, as Nick nodded silently.

"Yeah, I thought so."  Nick laughed.

"Last week, you were all promised a new age of MWL, where we will stand tall above the X.  Free Radical will usher in this new era when Nicholas Hunter defeats Yugo Ryan to become a two-time MWL World Heavyweight Champion.  We'll make sure that SYN loses the MWL World Tag Team Championship, and when it happens, the X will crumble!"  Jim shouted.

"Oh, we will, will we?"  Yugo's voice asked, as he, along with the entire rest of the X, appeared on the stage.  "Well, I think we would beg to differ.  You see, we are the upper tier of the talent here in MWL.  In case you haven't noticed, we've held at least one championship at all times since we started our campaign.  What you people don't seem to realize is that we can not be stopped."  Yugo grinned.

"No matter how hard you boys try, the X will still be around until our job is finished.  Only after MWL has been demolished, and a new promotion built on its ruins, will the X step back."  Melissa Rez added.

MWL World Tag Team Championship: SYN vs. Seiryu & Kouryuu vs. Shane Warner & Chad Vritska

Fallen Rites...the event in which everyone will be pushed to their limits and beyond.  Tonight, one man will stand above the rest with the opportunity of a lifetime.  To win the Fallen Rites Royal Rumble is to take your place at the top of the mountain and select your championship bout at Fallout.  World Heavyweight, World Lightweight, World Tag Team, North American, MWL-CAW...  Any championship match that the winner desires, along with any stipulations.  Truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity...

"Ladies and gentlemen, Stevan Corber here, with Shane Warner.  Shane, just moments ago, your tag team partner, Chad Vritska, won the Fallen Rites Royal Rumble for a title match of his choice in the main event at Fallout.  Any ideas what title he'll challenge for?"  Stevan asked.

"No, Stevan, not a clue, but I imagine we'll discuss it after the show tonight."  Shane answered.  "Now then, if you'll excuse me, I have a match to prepare for."  And with that, Shane made his exit.

"Michael!"  Chad Vritska called out, walking into Michael's office.

"Yeah, what is it, Chad?"  Michael asked, turning to face him.  Standing behind Chad was Shane Warner, Seiryu, and Kouryuu.  "Oh, good lord..."

"I've decided what I'll cash in my title match on."  Chad grinned.

"And that would be?"  Michael asked, cocking an eyebrow.

"Well, as you're WELL aware, Seiryu and Kouryuu, unfortunately, lost the MWL World Tag Team Championship to SYN at Fallen Rites.  Well, since at Fallen Rites I won a championship match of MY choosing, it will be, at Fallout, myself and Shane Warner, versus SYN, versus Seiryu and Kouryuu, in an HT5 match for the MWL World Tag Team Championship!"  Chad announced.

"Alright, then.  HT5 it is."  Michael nodded.

    "R-really?  That's it?"  Chad asked.

"Yeah, now get out of here, I'm expecting Allan Martel any minute, now."  Michael stated, shooing the four men out of his office.

"Ladies, and gentlemen, welcome to MWL Fallout!  Danny Tieso here, with my broadcast partner and participant in tonight's main event, Chad Vritska!  Tonight is a big night.  Allan Martel has worked his way into management's sight for the MWL World Heavyweight Championship title picture, and in order to prepare him for the stiff competition in Nicholas Hunter and Yugo Ryan, Michael Jamborgh has placed Allan in a match against Genbu for the MWL North American Championship."  Danny announced.

"That almost sounds like a punishment, doesn't it?"  Chad asked.

"Heh, a little bit, yeah, but Allan Martel's as confident as he's ever been!  The man who says he was born for hardcore will not back down tonight as he butts heads with the most intimidating force in MWL today."  Danny continued.

"And not in just any old match, either.  Tonight, Allan Martel faces Genbu for the MWL North American Championship!"  Chad shouted.

"Didn't I already say that?"  Danny asked.

"Uh...I don't know.  Did you?"  Chad asked.

"Well, I thought I did..."  Danny answered.

"Uh...right, well, let's go to the arena for our opening contest for the evening!"  Chad announced.

Match 1: MWL North American Championship - (C) Genbu v. Allan Martel

"Ladies and gentlemen, Stevan Corber here, with the woman that Michael Jamborgh has called in to aid in his battle against the X, the head of talent relations for CAW, and now MWL, please welcome, at this time, Sarah Alyssa!"  Stevan announced.

"Alright Stevan, let's make this fast.  Chris here has his match tonight, and he still needs to get ready."  Sarah stated.

"Of course.  Sarah, you've been here in MWL for only a matter of a few days, and already, you've made your presence felt by almost the entire roster.  On this past edition of Redline, you ordered one match to take place tonight, and modified another.  Has anyone acted less than friendly toward you because of that?"  Stevan asked.

"No they haven't, Stevan.  But rest assured, if they had, Chris would make short work of them.  Not to mention my wrath would rain down onto their heads.  What you need to realize is that Michael Jamborgh has been far too lenient with who gets their shots at the champions, and look where it's gotten him.  Two of MWL's World Championships rest on the waists of members of the X, and if something isn't done, all of MWL's other championships will end up in the same place, and do you know what that would mean?"  Sarash demanded.

    "No, what?"  Stevan asked.

"It would mean that the X would win, and MWL would be over and done with.  Our one safety net right now is Genbu.  He's the only one we've been able to fully count on, and if he were ever convinced to join the X, the war would be over.  I just wish to create champions more like Genbu.  After all, if the X can't defeat our soldiers, they can't win the war, now can they?"  Sarah grinned.

    "I guess not."  Stevan answered.

"That's right.  And that's why I ordered the next match and placed Chris in the match after.  Now then, if you'll excuse me, Chris has a match to prepare for."  Sarah stated.

Match 2: Tag Team Contendership: Magnum & Chance v. Anthony Jacobs & Kairez

"Wait, we're doing countouts on PPV, now?"  Chad demanded.

    "I, uh...I guess."  Danny shrugged.

"Well, damn it, who the hell're the number-one contenders to the tag titles, then?!"  Chad demanded.

"What do you care for?  You've got a shot at the straps tonight!"  Danny answered.

"I wanted to know who my first title match opponents were going to be."  Chad pouted.

"Uh...huh...  Right, well, next up is the triple threat, number-one contender's match to the MWL World Lightweight Championship between Jim Norris, David Hitz, and the 'hand-picked enforcer', as she calls him, of Sarah Alyssa, newcomer Chris Campbell."  Danny stated.

"Well, this oughtta be good, eh?  With three guys, I'm sure there's gonna be a countout."  Chad grinned.

"Chad, it's a triple threat.  Countouts don't apply in triple threat matches."  Danny answered.

    "WHAT?!  DAMN IT!"  Chad shouted.

"Right, well, let's go to the arena..."  Danny stated.

Match 3: Lightweight Contendership: Jim Norris v. David Hitz v. Chris Campbell

"Stevan Corber here, with the reigning MWL World Lightweight Champion who, in just a few minutes, will be going head-to-head in defense of his title against Scott Froelich.  Please welcome, at this time, Christopher Martel!  Chris, earlier tonight, your brother, Allan Martel was in an MWL North American Championship match against Genbu, and soon, you'll be going against Scott.  Tonight seems to be a night of title matches for the Martels."  Stevan stated.

"It is, Stevan, and suffice it to say, I'll be walking out of here tonight, with this strap still over my shoulder."  Christopher laughed.

"A big statement, little man."  Scott Froelich called out, approaching Chris and Stevan.  "This is, what, your first reign?"

"Yeah, what about it?"  Chris demanded.

"After tonight, I'll be in my FOURTH reign."  Scott smirked.

"That means you've lost it three times, now."  Chris answered.  "And to the same guy every time, too."

"You shut up!"  Scott snapped.  "I'll be walking out champion, just you wait."  And with that, Scott made his exit, while Chris and Stevan looked to each other.

"Right, well, I'd better get out there.  I'm up next, y'know."  Chris stated, making his exit.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Christopher Martel versus Scott Froelich for the MWL World Lightweight Championship is up, NEXT!"  Stevan announced.

Match 4: MWL World Lightweight Championship - (C) Christopher Martel v. Scott Froelich

"Ladies and gentlemen, up next is Nicholas Hunter versus Yugo Ryan for the MWL World Heavyweight Championship.  Last month, just days before Fallen Rites, the X assaulted Nicholas Hunter backstage, and his injuries were reflected in his match with Yugo Ryan when he lost his title."  Danny stated.

"Nick was then granted a rematch between the Redline that followed Fallen Rites and tonight of his choice for the MWL World Heavyweight Championship.  Nick announced his match a week and a half ago on Redline."  Chad began.

"A two out of three falls hardcore match!"  Danny announced.  "And now, for the tale of the tape."

"Yugo Ryan, the defending champion, is in his third reign.  He stands six-foot-seven and weight two hundred and forty pounds.  And, wait a second, I guess they went and jumped the gun on us."  Chad sighed.

"Oh, wait, they're already going at it?"  Danny asked.

    "YES."  Chad answered.

    * * *

"I'll kill you!"  Nick shouted, as Jim Norris, Allan Martel, and other MWL-loyalists held him back.  Yugo stared, angrily, at Nick, as Lino, Catastrophe, and the Nortons stood in front of him, holding him back.

"Nick, Nick, Nick, just wait until you're out in the arena, then it's ANYHTING goes.  Just hold on a few minutes, alright?"  Jim asked.

"Yeah, yeah."  Nick nodded, calming down.

    * * *

Match 5: MWL World Heavyweight Championship - 2 Out of 3 Falls Hardcore: (C) Yugo Ryan v. Nicholas Hunter

"Well, ladies and gentlemen, the main event is close at hand!  This bout is the prize that was awarded to my broadcast partner, Chad Vritska, who won the Fallen Rites Royal Rumble.  The prize was a title match with the stipulations of his choosing, and Chad decided on this.  An HT5 match between SYN, Seiryu & Kouryuu, and himself and Shane Warner, for the MWL World Tag Team Championship."  Danny announced.  "Now, let's go to Stevan Corber, who is standing by.  Stevan?"

    * * *

"Ladies and gentlemen, Stevan Corber here, with two of the competitors in tonight's main event for the MWL World Tag Team Championship, please welcome, at this time, the Ssu-Ling's Seiryu and Kouryuu."  Stevan announced.  "Guys, last month, at Fallen Rites, you suffered your first tag team loss in MWL at the hands of SYN in a match for the tag titles.  Tonight, you are being given another chance at SYN in another MWL World Tag Team Championship match, but this time in HT5, the very same match type that you originally won and subsequently lost the tag titles in."

"Lino, Catastrophe, enjoy your ONE victory over us while you can.  They say that you can't win them all, but until Fallen Rites, we did.  We were undefeated, and you took that from us.  There's no doubt that SYN will go down in history because of that, but it won't happen twice, mark my words."  Seiryu spat.  "Tonight, boys, Shane Warner and Chad Vritska are the least of your worries, because once again, you'll be in the same ring as us, and that does not bode well for your title reign."  With that, Seiryu and Kouryuu made their exit.

"Ladies and gentlemen, HT5 for the MWL World Tag Team Championship is up NEXT!"  Stevan announced.

Main Event: MWL World Tag Team Championship - HT5: (C) SYN v. Seiryu & Kouryuu v. Shane Warner & Chad Vritska

As Lino and Catastrophe stood, the referee handed them back the MWL World Tag Team Championship belts.  As they began to make their way up the ramp, Seiryu pushed himself to his feet, and Kouryuu dragged himself up using the ring apron for support.  The two stared up the ramp at the tag champions, and both gestured toward their waists.
