MWL Redline - January 16, 2008
"I didn't think so, Stevan. I KNEW so." Amy answered. "Now, why don't you get to the man that is officially the biggest name in MWL?"
"Alright, Nicholas Hunter, Sunday night, you defeated Yugo Ryan and won the MWL World Heavyweight Championship, ending one of the longest title reigns in MWL history." Stevan stated.
"That's right. They say to be the best, you've got to beat the best. And at Onslaught, I did just that, and this belt proves it." Nick grinned, unsnapping the belt and slinging it over his shoulder. "And now, I'm sure you're wondering if we're still going to pursue the MWL World Tag Team Championship?"
"Yeah, sure, I guess..." Stevan began.
"Jimmy, would you do the honors?" Nick asked, motioning toward Jim Norris.
"Well, we're going on a SLIGHT detour." Jim stated. "First, I'm going to regain the MWL World Lightweight Championship, and then, we're going after the tag titles."
"Y'see, we are the single greatest tag team in MWL, and we're going to prove it, come hell or high water." Nick announced.

"You gonna give 'em a title shot?" Shane Warner asked Michael Jamborgh, motioning toward a monitor showing the interview.
"I might, later on. I've already got my plans set for Conquest, though. Maybe come Fallen Rites..." Michael muttered.
"Alright, now you've gone and gotten me all curious!" Shane groaned. "Whatcha got, huh? Whatcha got?"
"Suffice it to say, I got the most vicious structure in profession wrestling for Conquest weekend, and I almost ended up double-booking." Michael grinned.
"Ooh!" Shane giggled. "It's gonna be a hell of a night, isn't it?"
"You bet your ass!" Michael announced.

"DAMN IT!" Yugo screamed, kicking over a couple of unfortunate tables. "How could I lose my title to a hack like him?!"
"Yugo, calm down..." Lino urged. "It happens! You can still get your title back!"
"You're right, you're right..." Yugo muttered, breathing deeply. "I'll just go to Michael Jamborgh and demand a rematch at Conquest. I'll get my title back then..."
Match 1: Jim Norris v. Spike Norton
"What do you mean, you've got other plans?!" Yugo demanded.
"I mean exactly that, Yugo. I have other plans already set in motion for Conquest, involving you and Nicholas Hunter, but guess what? The MWL World Heavyweight Championship is not part of the equation." Michael laughed.
"You can't do this!" Yugo shouted.
"Bet me. I already have." Michael grinned. "I'm the boss around here, Yugo. I may not TECHNICALLY have any control over you, but I have total control over your paycheck. So if you want to keep your job, I suggest you shut your ungrateful mouth, and get out of my office." With that, Yugo quietly turned and walked out of Michael's office, snarling as he went.
"That's almost TOO easy." Shane muttered.
"Expect him to raise hell until Conquest rolls around." Michael groaned.
"Sounds like fun." Shane stated.
"Oh, yeah. Tons." Michael sighed.

"Hello, ladies and gentlemen, Stevan Corber here, with Anthony Jacobs! AJ, tonight, you face off with a former MWL World Tag Team Champion in Magnum. Now--" Stevan began.
"Shut up!" AJ yelled, snatching the microphone from Stevan's hand. "Magnum, tonight, get ready for the beating of your life! You're nothing but a washed-up old hack, and after I finish you off out there, you'll be BEGGING to be put on the shelf. Just like Allan Martel." With that, AJ, threw the microphone down the hall and stormed off for his match.
Match 2: Magnum v. Anthony Jacobs
As Magnum forced himself to his feet, Anthony Jacobs circled his beaten opponent, then quickly tucked back into the corner, preparing for the Longinus. As AJ prepared to strike, Allan Martel rushed down to the ring, chair in hand, as AJ fled, moving toward the ramp as Allan grabbed a microphone. "I've kicked your ass up and down this arena twice already, and you're STILL running your mouth?! Good lord!" Allan groaned.
As Allan began to speak again, Michael Jamborgh appeared on the stage, microphone in hand. "I guess AJ didn't want to stay in his gave Sunday night, eh?" Michael grinned. "Alright, guys, here's the deal. The two of you will face off one more time. I'm fairly sure that the loser of this last confrontation will be out for a while. And that would be due to the fact that the final showdown will be a Last Man Standing match!" With that, Michael made his exit, as AJ looked furious at the base of the ramp.
"Why don't we get a head start?" Allan demanded, tossing down the microphone, grabbing his steel chair, and chasing AJ backstage.

"Stevan Corber here, with the MWL World Tag Team Champions, Seiryu and Kouryuu." Stevan announced. "Guys, in just a few minutes, you will defend your titles against two of MWL's fastest rising stars, the Asian Persuasion. As a tag team, the two of you are undefeated, and the Asian Persuasion has quite the record, as well."
"Stevan, don't bother worrying about it. We're the best tag team there is. A couple of lightweights won't be able to take these belts away from us." Seiryu laughed. With that, the two champions made their exit.
"Seiryu and Kouryuu defend the MWL World Tag Team Championship against the Asian Persuasion NEXT!" Stevan announced.
Main Event: MWL World Tag Team Championship - (C) Seiryu & Kouryuu v. The Asian Persuasion
As the referee handed the MWL World Tag Team Championship belts back to Seiryu and Kouryuu, the champions helped their opponents stand, then proceeded to shake hands, as Michael Jamborgh appeared on the stage. "Alright, ladies and gentlemen, a round of applause for such a great showing from these two teams!" Michael announced. "Now then, down to why I'm out here. Seiryu, Kouryuu, Tiananman, Kentan, the four of you put on such a great match, that it really showed me something. I think we need to have a rematch, at Conquest! And you know what? Let's go all the way with it. Seiryu and Kouryuu defend the MWL World Tag Team Championship at Conquest, in the Hell in a Cell!" Michael shouted.
