MWL Redline - January 2, 2008
"Which, by the way, have you decided how that'll go?" Shane Warner asked.
"Yes, now come on. We're going to go out an announce the card." Michael commanded, as the two made their way out of Michael's office.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Stevan Corber here, with two of the biggest names in the MWL today, the MWL World Heavyweight Champion, Yugo Ryan, and Lino." Stevan announced. "Now, Yugo, Lino, tonight you will face the Asian Persuasion in a tag team match. The Asian Persuasion has only lost one match by pinfall, and two others by countout. Are you two confident that you'll win the match?"
"Stevan, we are the former MWL World Tag Team Champions!" Yugo announced, slinging his World Heavyweight Championship belt over his shoulder. "The only reason I say former is because the longest reigning champion, Lino, lost the title because of his tag partner, Catastrophe. Had I not handed my belt over to him, we'd still be the champions right now."
"Now, I don't know--" Stevan began.
"Are you arguing with me?" Yugo demanded, grabbing Stevan's microphone and hurling it down the hallway. "Fetch." Yugo commanded.

As Shane Warner's music blared, he appeared on the stage doing his usual theatrics as Michael followed him. Michael began to make his way down the ramp while Shane remained on the stage, following a moment later. Michael stepped into the ring as Shane slid in, Michael grabbed a microphone from ringside. "Alright, ladies and gentlemen, Onslaught is quickly approaching when MWL and the X will go head-to-head all night, so here's exactly what will happen. But first, tonight will serve as a precursor. Spike Norton and David Hitz will face off one-on-one first, then the former MWL World Tag Team Champions, Yugo Ryan and Lino, will face the rising stars, the Asian Persuasion. And in the main event tonight, MWL North American Champion Kouryuu defends his title against the one and only Catastrophe!" Michael announced.
"But, wait, that's not all!" Shane added.
"Shut up, Shane." Michael groaned. "Now then, starting off Onslaught, we'll be letting a couple of the women tear loose at each other. It will be Melissa Rez, head-to-head with Amy Kaldahl! After that, Viper will be competing, and depending upon the results of tonight's title match, he will face either Catastrophe, or Lino. Then, the MWL North American Championship will be on the line, and depending on tonight's title match, it will either be Catastrophe versus Shane Warner, or Kouryuu versus Lino." Michael stated, as Shane Warner soaked in the crowd reaction.
"Then, the MWL World Lightweight Championship will be defended by David Hitz against a representative of the X. After that, the MWL World Tag Team Championship will be on the line when the Ssu-Ling defend against the Norton Brothers. And last, but most definitely not least, the MWL World Heavyweight Championship will be up for grabs when the champion, Yugo Ryan, defends the title against Nicholas Hunter!" Michael announced. "Now, let's start the show, shall we?"
Match 1: Spike Norton v. David Hitz
"Kouryuu, tonight, you defend the MWL North American Championship against Catastrophe, and the outcome of the match will affect MWL Onslaught on January 13. If you win, you will defend that title against Lino, and may go on to defend the tag titles with Seiryu against the Norton Brothers. On the other hand, if you lose, you'll just be competing in the tag title match while Catastrophe defends the North American Championship against Shane Warner..." Stevan began.
"Stevan, I am the SINGLE most dominant force in the entire promotion. This isn't the first time I've been a double champion. Rest assured, I will walk into Onslaught with both championships around my waist, and I will walk out of Onslaught with both championships around my waist." Kouryuu stated.
"That seems like you're thinking highly of yourself. Even if you are the most dominant force in MWL, you're facing some pretty big names, three of them to be exact, and all in the same night. Are you sure you'll be able to pull it off?" Stevan asked.
"Never, EVER doubt me, Stevan. You never know what someone like me could be capable of." Kouryuu growled.

"Alright, Lino, we should have an easy match." Yugo stated, slinging his MWL World Heavyweight Championship belt over his shoulder. "They're both lightweights, so it shouldn't be difficult in the least. You set?"
"Oh, yeah." Lino grinned.
"Then let's go." Yugo urged.
Match 2: The Asian Persuasion v. Yugo Ryan & Lino
As the two teams continued to brawl at ringside, Michael Jamborgh appeared on the stage. "Hold it, hold it, hold it!" Michael shouted, as the four men looked toward him. "I just watched this entire match backstage, and quite frankly, I'm amazed. You two, Yugo, Lino, you both thought that these two'd be no problem to beat, but you couldn't manage it, could you? The Asian Persuasion held their own against two of MWL's biggest names, who happen to be former MWL World Tag Team Champions. That said, I've made a decision that I'm sure no one will hate." Michael stated.
"At the Redline following Onslaught, on January 16, 2008, the Asian Persuasion will have a match. And let it be known that it is their biggest match yet! Because tonight, on January 2, 2008, the Asian Persuasion impressed management enough to have earned them a shot at the MWL World Tag Team Championship!" Michael announced, as Yugo and Lino looked visibly furious, while Tiananman and Kentan got away from the much larger men, as they approached the ramp and began to make their exit.
"Good job guys, you earned it." Michael stated, seeming to forget for a moment that they didn't know English.

"Ladies and gentlemen, yes you heard right. Tonight, the Asian Persuasion have earned themselves a shot at the MWL World Tag Team Championship, set to happen on the Redline immediately following Onslaught on January 13." Stevan announced, as Catastrophe appeared in the background, making his way toward the arena. "Catastrophe, in just a moment, you'll be facing Kouryuu for the MWL North American Championship. What are your thoughts?"
"Piss off, Stevan!" Catastrophe snapped, smacking Stevan's microphone out of his hand, and continuing on his way.
Main Event: MWL North American Championship - (C) Kouryuu v. Catastrophe
As Kouryuu held the MWL North American Championship belt overhead, Viper appeared on the stage, making his way to the ring, and stepping in, staring at Kouryuu all the while. Kouryuu slowly made his way out of the ring, never shifting his gaze from Viper. After a moment, Viper reached out to ringside and grabbed a microphone.
"Now, as you're all aware, last week, I won the Good Saint Mike Tournament for a title shot of my choice, in a match of my choice, and a time of my choice, all without exception. Well, I've made my decision. On June 29th, 2008, MWL's season ends, and it reaches the event that is our WrestleMania. That event is called Overdrive. Well, at Overdrive, I will face the MWL World Heavyweight Champion in the Hell in a Cell, of course, for the title! I gave you your main event, Michael Jamborgh, now sign the papers, and make it official!" Viper announced.
