MWL Redline - December 26, 2007
As Michael raised the microphone to continue, Shane Warner appeared on the stage, making his way toward the ring, microphone in hand. "Don't forget it was my idea, Mike!" Shane announced, sliding into the ring.
"Yeah, okay, shut up. Anyway, this is how the 'Good Saint Mike Tournament' will work. Tonight, we will hold two six-man, elimination, tag team matches. The two winning teams of those matches will then face off in a free-for-all six-man elimination match." Michael announced. "And the winner of that free-for-all match will win a title match of his choice whenever he chooses.
"Mike, why don't you introduce the participants for the first match?" Shane asked.
"Alright, I will, participating in the first match tonight, representing Team Red, will be Anthony Jacobs, Spike Norton, and Lino. And representing Team Green will be Allan Martel, Jim Norris, and Magnum. Once those men are ready, the show will begin!" Michael announced.
* * *
"So, wait, let me get this straight, we're both in the tournament, tonight?" Jim Norris asked.
"Yup." Nicholas nodded.
"How in the hell did you manage to pull that off?" Jim demanded.
"Suffice it to say I have my ways, Jimmy..." Nick grinned.
"Well, what ways are those?!" Jim pressed.
"Don't worry about it." Nick laughed, walking away.

"Magnum, this is your chance!" Chance announced, as the two walked toward the arena, past the locker rooms.
"Is that supposed to be a bad pun?" Magnum asked, grinning.
"I suppose." Chance answered. "Think about it, though, if you win the tournament tonight, you can either score us a shot at the MWL World Tag Team Championship, or you can go after Yugo and the MWL World Heavyweight Championship again."
"Probably the tag titles. I just can't ever seem to beat Yugo, no matter what I do. Maybe if Nicholas Hunter can beat him, I can try and get the title from him..." Magnum muttered. "But after Dead Heat, I honestly can't see Yugo letting go of that title any time soon..."
"How he managed to pull that match out of his ass, I will never know..." Chance awed.
"No kidding." Magnum replied.
Match 1: Good Saint Mike Tournament Semi-final: 6-Man Elimination Tag: Team Red (Anthony Jacobs, Spike Norton, & Lino) v. Team Green (Allan Martel, Jim Norris, & Magnum)
As Lino stepped out of the ring and began to make his way up the ramp toward the backstage area, Michael Jamborgh appeared on the stage, microphone in hand. "Ladies and gentlemen, Team Green will go on to the Good Saint Mike Tournament Final later tonight!" Michael announced, as Team Green remained in the ring, celebrating.
* * *
"Alright, now here's the deal." Nicholas Hunter stated, looking to his two partners in the next match. "Viper, Byakko, we're going to be side by side in the next match, and I know you guys are capable of some pretty amazing things. Byakko, you beat Jimmy for the Lightweight Championship back at Goldlust, you think you can take Kentan?"
"I should be able to, yeah." Byakko nodded.
"Viper, we've tagged together before, the only difference this time is we've got a third man. And it's an elimination match." Nick stated. "You're not gonna go breaking on us, are you?"
"Nope." Viper stated. "Team Green, all the way."
"Alright, everybody, hands in, on three..." Nick grinned. "One, two..."
"TEAM GREEN!" The three yelled in unison, turning and making their way toward the arena.

"I don't like you, and you don't like me, but--" Catastrophe began.
"Whoa, whoa, hold on. Where's this coming from?" Kairez demanded.
"Look, as much as I hate it, the three of us are on one team, tonight. And YOU, especially!" Catastrophe snapped, pointing to Kentan, who looked genuinely confused. "I hate you both!"
"Seriously, where the hell is this coming from?" Kairez repeated.
Match 2: Good Saint Mike Tournament Semi-final: 6-Man Elimination Tag: Team Red (Catastrophe, Kentan, & Kairez) v. Team Green (Nicholas Hunter, Byakko, & Viper)
As Nicholas Hunter stood victorious with the rest of Team Green, he slumped to the mat, breathing heavily as Kairez made his exit. Michael Jamborgh appeared on the stage once again, microphone in hand. "Ladies and gentlemen, in a come-from-behind victory, I give you the next three finalists in the Good Saint Mike Tournament, Viper, Byakko, and last but most definitely not least, Nicholas Hunter!" Michael announced. "You guys still have a few minutes before the final, so head backstage and rest before it rolls around, huh?"
* * *
"I don't believe it!" Amy announced. "You both made it to the free-for-all!"
"I know, but imagine how tired Nick has to be... I mean, he pinned both Catastrophe AND Kairez... Kairez held the MWL World Heavyweight Championship, and Catastrophe held the MWL World Tag Team Championship..." Jim muttered. "If he doesn't win the title at Onslaught, he should at least get a rematch..."
"Anything's possible, Jimmy." Nick stated, chugging a bottle of water as he approached Jim Norris and Amy Kaldahl. "You ready? It's almost time."
"Yup, I'm ready!" Jim shouted.

Michael Jamborgh stood in the ring with Shane Warner, both of them holding a microphone in their hand, as the fireworks display overhead erupted. "Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages, now is the time for the conclusion to the first annual MWL Good Saint Mike Tournament!" Shane Warner announced.
"The winner of this match will be granted a shot at any MWL Championship they are eligible to hold, in a match type and time of their choosing. No exceptions." Michael stated. "Now, the six competitors are backstage anxiously awaiting their time to shine, so let's get the show on the road!"
Main Event: Good Saint Mike Tournament Final: Elimination - Magnum v. Jim Norris v. Allan Martel v. Viper v. Byakko v. Nicholas Hunter
Allan Martel rolled out of the ring, as Viper stood, celebrating his victory, as the fireworks display overhead erupted once again. Michael Jamborgh and Shane Warner stepped into the ring, each holding a microphone. Michael passed an extra microphone to Viper, who exhaustedly slumped into the corner.
"Viper, it does me proud, seeing you here, holding wildcard contendership." Shane stated. "Do you have any idea which championship you'll be challenging for?"
"Not yet, Shane." Viper answered. "I'll need some time to think about it. To be honest, I didn't think I'd make it..."
"Well, you did." Michael interrupted. "You went all the way, and now you've got four options. You can compete for Genbu's MWL-CAW Championship, Kouryuu's MWL North American Championship, the Ssu-Ling's MWL World Tag Team Championship, or Yugo Ryan's MWL World Heavyweight Championship. Any idea?"
"Nope, I'm afraid I'll have to get back to you on that." Viper answered, a grin forming on his face.
"Well, Viper, you earned yourself the title shot of your choosing, so take your time." Michael stated, patting Viper on the shoulder.
