MWL Redline - December 5, 2007
"We are back, and we are better than ever!" Nicholas shouted.
"And surely, you're all wondering why we don't have our old set." Jim stated. "Well, it seems that Michael Jamborgh decided to hock our old equipment, so we're taking over his ring!"
"And there's nothing you can do to stop us, Jamborgh!" Nicholas shouted. With that, Michael Jamborgh appeared on the stage, looking toward the three of them.
"Get out of my ring." Michael stated, nonchalantly. Free Radical remained quiet, as Michael continued. "Or you lost the title and the spot in the semi-final next week." With that, the trio grumbled, stepping out of the ring. "That's better." Michael nodded.

"Hello, Stevan Corber here, with one of the participants in tonight's North American Championship Tournament Semi-final. Please welcome, at this time, Mr. Reality, Shane Warner!" Stevan announced, as Shane stepped on screen. "Shane Warner, tonight, you face the man called Viper, a wrestler that you worked with back in Cross-Atlantic Wrestling. What are your thoughts on your match tonight?"
"Well, Stevan, truth be told, I am excited. I mean, I never actually wrestled against the guy, he was always too busy goin' at it with AJ. So, I'm actually anxious to see how he does against...Reality..." Shane answered.
"And the whole thing last week with Panzer, AJ, and the tournament, you probably pitched that idea, didn't you?" Stevan asked.
"Actually, I suggested that since AJ won the rematch that we put him in Panzer's place. David actually asked us to set up the Lightweight title match next week." Shane stated. "And, frankly, we liked it, so we thought, 'what the hell?', and signed it."
"And this idea for the number-one contender to the North American Championship after Dead Heat being determined tonight? Whose idea was that?" Stevan asked.
"Well, the title being defended right after Dead Heat was my idea, and Michael devised the thing with the elimination match with the guys that either got removed from the qualifiers, or didn't take the fall during their matches. Honestly, I like it. That way, nobody gets to whine about not actually being eliminated from the tournament." Shane answered.
"Well, ladies and gentlemen, the opening bout is just moments away. Tonight is sure to be one fantastic show!" Stevan announced. "Tonight's semi-final, Shane Warner versus Viper, is up NEXT!"

Viper walked down the hallway slowly, throwing punches into the air as a last-minute preparation while he made his way out to the arena.
Match 1: North American Championship Tournament Semi-final - Shane Warner v. Viper
As Shane Warner helped Viper to his feet, the two shook hands, as Anthony Jacobs appeared at the top of the stage, charging toward the ring, chair in hand. He struck both Shane Warner and Viper with the chair, tossing it aside as he circled Viper. AJ tucked into a corner by the ramp, and watched as Viper began to get up. A grin appeared on AJ's face as he prepared to charge into Viper, while Allan Martel charged down to the ring, wrapping his arms around AJ's foot as he lunged. AJ tripped and fell face-first to the mat as Allan grabbed him by the ankles and pulled him into the ringpost.
Allan slid into the ring and grabbed AJ's chair, propping it against his head. Allan walked toward the opposite corner as Shane Warner stood, then turned and charged toward AJ, who quickly recovered and fled from the ring, looking back and rubbing his head. "Dead Heat, AJ!" Allan shouted, pointing toward him. "One on one!" AJ looked up, nodded, and mouthed a reply.

"Hello, Stevan Corber, here, with one of the four men participating in the number-one-contender's elimination match in just a few moments, please welcome at this time, the 'Soldier of Fortune', Chance!" Stevan announced. He paused for a moment before speaking again. "Please welcome at this time, Chance!" Stevan waited for a moment, before looking to the side, seeing Chance and Magnum talking.
"This is a big chance for us, Chance. I've got a shot at Yugo's title for Dead Heat, and you have the opportunity to score a shot at the North American Championship in two weeks. If everything goes right in the coming nights, we might just be able to beat the X." Magnum stated.
"Uhh...Chance?" Stevan asked, as the Soldier of Fortune turned around. "Are we still doing the interview, then?"
"Sorry, Stevan, but I've got to get to the ring. Number one contenders match, after all!" With that, Chance made his exit, as Stevan and Magnum watched him leave.
Match 2: North American Contendership - Elimination: Christopher Martel v. Kouryuu v. Allan Martel v. Chance
"Well, Michael, looks like at Dead Heat I'll be facing the MWL World Lightweight Champion!" Shane gloated, as Michael looked up from his papers for a moment.
"And that would be...?" Michael asked, curious as to Shane's prediction.
"I...don't...know..." Shane stated slowly, sitting down.
"Then I suggest you settle down, if you don't even have a clue who you're facing." Michael stated.
"Actually, my money's on Chris." Shane stated, looking to the ceiling, as Michael cocked an eyebrow and shifted his gaze from his papers to Shane, wondering if he heard correctly.

The collective of the Ssu-Ling stood in the ring, Genbu, Seiryu, and Kouryuu all wearing their respective championships around their waists. "We stand here before you, tonight, as the group that controls the majority of MWL's championships. Genbu has the MWL-CAW Championship, and Kouryuu and myself hold the MWL World Tag Team Championship. And after Dead Heat, we'll be bringing the MWL North American Championship over to the group, too." Seiryu announced, as Suzaku took the microphone from her teammate.
"Now, true, Free Radical, those rookies, control the MWL World Lightweight Championship, and the X has the MWL World Heavyweight Championship, but those can be easily remedied with Byakko and Genbu, respectively." Suzaku stated, motioning to the energetic Byakko, and the towering, undefeated, Genbu. Yugo Ryan, Jim Norris, enjoy your titles while you still have them. Because before long, the Ssu-Ling will take them from you, and control all of MWL's divisions!" With that, the symbol of the X flashed on the titantron and faded, as the group stood, around Yugo Ryan, who had his MWL World Heavyweight Championship belt around his waist, and Melissa Rez holding onto him, with SYN and the Norton Brothers on either side.
"You...don't honestly think you can take this from me, do you?" Yugo asked, as Melissa motioned to the title belt. "You're...you're completely delusional, you know that?!" Yugo asked, cackling. "We are the X! Look, we know you're jealous, but at Dead Heat, the MWL World Tag Team Championship comes back to the X, and it won't be long after, when the North American Championship and the MWL-CAW Championship come to us, too." Yugo stated, tilting his head back and donning a maniacal grin. "At Uprising, you said the Ssu-Ling would steal the show...but at Dead Heat, it will be OUR time!" With that, the image on the titantron faded, as the Ssu-Ling remained in the ring, looking on in silent awe. After a moment, they regained their composure and made their exit.
Main Event: The Asian Persuasion v. SYN
As Tiananman brought himself to his feet, Kentan joined him in the ring as SYN argued at ringside. As the argument grew more heated, the four other members of the X hurried to ringside to try and settle the former champions down. As the team made their way to the back, the Asian Persuasion celebrated in the ring, and Catastrophe glared to Lino, then to the Persuasion.
