Home News Shows Roster Championships

    "Hello, there, and welcome to MWL Redline!  This is Stevan Corber, in the arena parking lot, awaiting the arrival of the MWL World Heavyweight Champion, Yugo Ryan."  Stevan announced.  "And it looks like someone's pulling up, now."  As Stevan turned around, the limo pulled into the building and parked, as he hurried over to it.  As he approached, the door opened and out stepped Yugo, the MWL World Heavyweight Championship around his waist.  "Yugo, you promised you would have Arctica's opponent at Infection here with you, tonight...where are they?"  Stevan asked, as Lino stepped out of the limo, as well.

    "Well, Stevan, SHE is right here."  Yugo answered, gesturing to the limo as a woman, dressed in red and black, stepped out, resting her arm on the top of the limo.  "Magnum, take a good look.  This is my personal manager, Melissa Rez.  She is the one that will beat Arctica at Infection, one, two, three."  Yugo continued, as Melissa sat on the trunk of the limo.

    "Magnum, get ready.  Come Sunday, those MWL World Tag Team Championship belts will belong to us, so start getting 'em nice and shiny for us!"  Lino announced.

    "I'll be there at ringside tonight to watch my boys beat you two to hell and back.  At least try to put up a fight, would you?"  Melissa asked, as Yugo laughed.

    "Tonight it is Yugo Ryan and Lino taking on the reigning MWL World Tag Team Champions in a non-title match."  Stevan announced.

    "And we're gonna win!"  Yugo interrupted.

    As the notorious theme of Jim Norris blared, Free Radical stood in the ring, microphones in hand.  "Cut the music!"  Nicholas snapped.

    "I'm sure you're all wondering what happened to Free Radical TV!"  Jim Norris announced.  "Well, don't worry.  We're still here, so we'll get back to the normal format.  In the meantime, you're looking at the future of the MWL, Nicholas Hunter, and the future MWL World Lightweight Champion, Jim Norris!"

    "The fact is, the two of us have been getting forced into singles matches this whole damn time, so we haven't gotten a chance to go for the MWL World Tag Team Championship!  It is our right, our destiny, to be the champions!"  Nicholas shouted.

    "David Hitz, Scott Froelich, tonight, I'll walk out of the ladder match as the champion once again, and at Infection, I'll slaughter you both again, and walk out, still the champion!"  Jim Norris stated, leaning on the top rope.  "Then, whoever wins that tag title match, watch out, 'cause we'll be coming for you!"

    "Now, don't go gettin' all riled up, there, guys."  Michael Jamborgh announced, appearing on the stage.  "At Infection, there's a #1-contender's match for the MWL World Tag Team Championship, and you're not invited."

    "What?!"  Nicholas demanded.

    "Let me put it this way, so your skull can let this information through, boys.  Seiryu and Kouryuu are the former champions.  They never got beaten.  And on the flip side, the Norton Brothers are a hell of a lot more deserving than you two, but they've never gotten their chance in a normal match."  Michael stated.  "So, if, and only if, the winners are willing, you two will get a shot at #1-contendership.  Now, Nick, go get ready, you've got a match in a second."  With that, Nicholas hurried to the back to prepare.

    "And?  What about you, Jimmy?  You've got a title match later tonight.  Aren't you going to go get ready?"  Michael asked, as Jim walked up the ramp and into the backstage area.  Michael then set down his microphone and walked to the back, as well.

    Match 1: Nicholas Hunter v. Panzer - Part 1 - Part 2

    "Stevan Corber, here, with the reigning MWL World Tag Team Champions, Magnum and Chance.  Guys, tonight the two of you take on your challengers for Infection in a non-title preview match.  What are your thoughts on the match, and on Yugo Ryan's challenger for Arctica?"  Stevan asked.

    "Well, first of all, Yugo, I don't know what the hell you're smoking, but I'm sure that Free Radical wants some.  Either way, what makes you think that you two are going to beat us for the tag titles, huh?  Seriously.  I destroyed Lino back at Goldlust, and he's a lot tougher than you are, Yugo."  Magnum stated.  "On top of that, you think your girl can beat Arctica?  Ha!"  Magnum laughed, swinging his arm back, the title belt's strap swinging as well.

    "Well, you never know.  She might--"  Stevan began.

    "I--  Eh?"  Magnum grunted, cocking an eyebrow at Stevan.  "What're you, nuts?"

    "No, I just think that Melissa Rez might give Arctica a run for her money, that's all."  Stevan answered.

    "No.  No.  Bad monkey."  Magnum sighed, crossing his arms, still holding the title belt in one hand.  "Arctica's been trained for the ring.  She's got years of training under her belt.  And I'm sure that Yugo's answer to her is just his girlfriend that's never once stepped between those ropes."

    "Magnum, come on, it's almost time."  Chance stated, as Magnum nodded, and the two walked off.

    "The MWL World Tag Team Champions, Magnum and Chance take on Yugo Ryan and Lino, NEXT!"  Stevan announced.

    * * *

    "C'mon, Jimmy!  You're never gonna win your title back if you don't try harder!"  Nicholas shouted, as Jim climbed to the top of a ladder, reaching for the ceiling, in training for his title match.  "Come on, you can do it!"  Nicholas urged, as the ladder tipped over, and Jim fell through a table.

    "Uhh..."  Nicholas looked cautiously back and forth.

    Match 2: Magnum & Chance v. Yugo Ryan & Lino

    As Yugo Ryan, Lino, and Melissa Rez celebrated in the ring, Michael Jamborgh appeared on the stage, walking toward the ring.  "Alright, you three, that was a pretty good match.  I'm not fond of the finish, but oh well.  Anyway, you three, I've got some annoncements to make.  Stick around if you want, I don't care.  Your opponents are welcome to stay, too."  With that, he walked up the steps and entered the ring.

    "As you all know, in just a few short days is MWL Infection.  Well, I'm here to run down the match card for the entire night.  Opening the card will be the women's challenge.  Arctica will battle Melissa Rez.  And after that, we've got Nicholas Hunter going on-on-one with the former MWL World Heavyweight Champion, Kairez."  Michael announced.

    "Yeah, he says he's the future of the MWL, let's see him put his money where his mouth is."  Michael laughed.  "Then, we've got the #1-contender's match where Seiryu and Kouryuu will take on the Norton Brothers.  The winners will be given the title of #1-contender to the MWL World Tag Team Championship.  Then, the second half of the night will be all title matches.  At the request of Suzaku, we held a lottery backstage to determine Genbu's opponent for Sunday.  Allan Martel won the draw.  So, the fourth match of Infection will be Allan Martel against Genbu for the MWL-CAW Championship."

    "And now, regarding the MWL World Lightweight Championship match, first of all, it will be defended tonight in a triple threat ladder match.  Then, on Sunday, the same three men will have a rematch, for the title, but this time, in a Hell in a Cell match!  And then, to top all that off, in the main event, it will be the reigning MWL World Tag Team Champions, Magnum and Chance, against the challengers, Yugo Ryan and Lino, in Hell in a Cell, for the titles!"  Michael announced.  "And now, on with the show!"  Michael announced, stepping out of the ring, and walking toward the backstage area.

    * * *

    "Alright Jimmy!  It's almost time for you to shine again!"  Nicholas urged, walking with his tag team partner as they drew near the ramp.  "It's time to kick some ass!"

    Main Event: MWL World Lightweight Championship - Triple Threat Ladder Match: (C) David Hitz v. Scott Froelich v. Jim Norris

    As Scott Froelich stumbled up the ramp, holding the MWL World Lightweight Championship, he turned to face Jim Norris and David Hitz.  Hitz was laid out, and Norris was pulling himself to his feet.  Jim looked back out toward Scott, then made a gesture around his waist, symbolizing the title.  "It'll be mine again, Scott!"  Norris shouted.
