MWL Redline - August 1, 2007
"And what's your point?" Kairez demanded.
"Oh, nothing important...but, what say you give me a shot at that title, eh?" Magnum asked. Kairez paused, and thought quietly.
"Tell you what. I don't have an opponent for Domination, yet, so I'll give you a non-title match tonight. No disqualification, falls count anywhere. You beat me, then you get a shot at this title at Domination." Kairez answered. "Sound good?"
"Sounds good." Magnum nodded, smiling. As Kairez walked off, Magnum spat on the ground and smirked.

As the fireworks blasted through the arena, Michael Jamborgh stood in the ring, microphone in hand, looking around at the cheering crowd surrounding him. Michael raised the microphone to his mouth once the fireworks settled, and began to speak.
"Oh, I tell ya, if you missed Goldlust on Sunday, I pity you. Not only did we see two championships change hands, but on top of that was the most burtal, grueling, and vicious match I've seen in years. Kudos to everyone who competed, you all deserve bonuses." Michael announced. "Now, at this time, I would like to introduce our two newest champions, the new MWL World Lightweight Champion, and MWL World Heavyweight Champion, respectively, Byakko and Kairez!" With that, Kairez's music began and the two of them walked out onto the stage, as fireworks blasted in celebration.
"Kairez, by the looks of it, you just gave Magnum a number-one contender's match tonight. You sure that was a good idea?" Michael asked as Kairez and Byakko entered the ring.
"Not really, but I don't want to get rusty, y'know? You can't just stay in this kind of shape forever, after all..." Kairez answered.
"Okay... Byakko, on Sunday you beat Jim Norris for the MWL World Lightweight Championship, and granted him a rematch for the title tonight. Now--" Michael was cut off by Jim Norris' music, as he appeared on the titantron.
"About that match tonight, Byakko, I don't want you pulling any of your little tricks! Michael, I want all of the Ssu-Ling, and David Hitz banned from the arena, tonight!" Jim demanded.
"Is that alright with you, Byakko?" Michael asked. Byakko nodded.
"And we all know that titles can change hands on a disqualification in MWL, but not by count-out. So, Michael, I also want the title to be able to change hands on a count-out." Jim announced. Michael looked to Byakko, who, again, nodded.
"Alright, Jim, it's done." Michael answered.
"Good. Then Byakko, I'll see you in the ring tonight." Jim stated, as the titantron faded and his music stopped.
"Well, then, moving on, first up, tonight, we have Scott Froelich taking on Christopher Martel. Then, we have a hardcore number-one contender's match between Kairez and Magnum. And last, but definitely not least, our new MWL World Lightweight Champion defends the Lightweight Championship against former champion Jim Norris in a rematch from Goldlust." Michael announced, as he stepped out of the ring and went to the back, followed by Kairez and Byakko.

Match 1: Single: Christopher Martel v. Scott Froelich
"Stevan Corber here, with the new MWL World Heavyweight Champion, Kairez. Kairez, going into Goldlust, we had no idea what happened to you after the inaugural World Heavyweight Championship match, and now, here you are, the reigning champion. Where did you go in those three weeks?" Stevan asked.
"Well, Stevan, it's simple. I went to train both my mind and my body. Yugo is the kind of man that you can't beat unless you're at your peak. So, I set out to reach my peak, in the hopes that I could capture that title belt. The one that everyone on the roster dreams of. The title that says that its holder is the best of the best. Of the best!" Kairez announced. "It was by no means easy. However, as Goldlust closed, I was the new reigning MWL Heavyweight Champion of the world! And there's nothing that anybody can do about that until Domination!"
"Alright, and why did you give Magnum this number-one contender's match tonight?" Stevan asked.
"Are you kidding? You make it sound Like Magnum might actually beat me! Really, now! Yugo stomped his ass, and I beat Yugo, so do the math. Magnum doesn't stand a chance! Heheh. I've already got plans for Domination, anyway. Magnum won't be getting in the way with a victory tonight. And if he does, then so be it. But don't bet on it." Kairez answered.
"What, exactly are your 'plans' for Domination, Kairez?" Stevan asked.
"That, little man, is for me to know, and you to find out." Kairez stated calmly, walking away as Stevan shrugged in confusion.

Michael Jamborgh was on the phone in his office, pacing back and forth. "Look, what do you want me to do? You lost the match, fair and square! It's not like somebody came down and hammered you with a chair! What? No, now look. You're in really bad shape. Just take a few weeks off and rest, alright? You can come back and have a rematch when you get clearance from your doctor, okay?" Michael was quiet for a few moments.
"Will you settle down? Look, you bring me a notice from your doctor saying you're cleared to wrestle, and I'll let you have a rematch, okay? But no sooner. Now get some rest!" Michael shouted, hanging up, and sitting down in his chair, rubbing his forehead.

Match 2: MWL World Heavyweight Contendership - Hardcore: Kairez v. Magnum
As Kairez walked up the ramp, he turned to face Magnum, who was furious, and throwing quite the tantrum. Fans in the front ducked as chairs and anything Magnum could pick up and throw went sailing into the audience. Magnum then snatched a microphone as Kairez watched him.
"Kairez!" Magnum bellowed. "Next week, I want you, in this ring, in a tag team match! You get anybody from the back and meet me down here!"
"Tell you what, Magnum. I think I've decided my opponent at Domination. So next week, I'll tag with him. You get anybody you can to team up with you, Magnum. Like anyone would!" Kairez laughed. Magnum stood in the ring nodding as Kairez was struck from behind by a large man wearing red camouflage and a mohawk.
"Haha! 'Atta boy, Chance! Now, finish him off!" Magnum commanded, as Chance lifted Kairez up for a suplex, transitioning into a running powerslam off of the stage.

"Stevan Corber here, with the former MWL World Lightweight Champion, Jim Norris." Stevan stated. "Jim, at Goldlust, you lost your Lightweight Championship to Byakko, the man who you said was only fitting for warm-ups before real matches. What are your thoughts?"
"Well, Stevan, the only reason that Byakko walked out a champion is because of that bastard David Hitz! David, mark my words. Tonight I will walk away the MWL World Lightweight Champion once more, then I'll be coming after you. There will be nothing you can do to protect yourself! And then, at Domination, when I leave you in a pool of your own blood, you will know that you picked the wrong man to mess with!" Jim shouted, smacking the microphone out of Stevan hand and stomping off.
Stevan bent down to pick the microphone up, dusting it off and looking at the camera. "Jim Norris versus Byakko in a Goldlust rematch for the MWL World Light Championship is up NEXT!" Stevan announced.

Main Event: MWL World Lightweight Championship: (C) Byakko v. Jim Norris
Jim Norris raised the Lightweight Championship belt high overhead, as Nicholas Hunter congratulated him. Jim then lowered the belt, glaring back at Byakko and smirking. He pointed at Byakko as Nicholas walked over, lifted him up, and held him, as Jim ran forward and slammed the Lightweight Championship into Byakko's face. Nicholas then lifted Byakko up and hit the Fox Arc, as Jim walked over to the fallen Byakko and lifted him up again, throwing him into the corner.
Jim motioned for Nicholas to fetch a chair. He searched under the ring, pulling one out and sliding it into the ring, as Jim set Byakko onto the top rope, standing up top with him. Jim checked behind him, and performed the Radical Crash from the top rope onto the chair. Jim slid out and grabbed another chair as Nicholas placed Byakko's head onto the chair already in the ring. Jim slid back and stood over Byakko, raising the chair up as David appeared on the stage, charging down the ramp. Jim quickly grabbed the Lightweight Championship and fled with Nicholas, as David attended to the unconscious Byakko.
"You're next, David!" Jim shouted.
